Door Supervisor Training Course

Whether, you want to work, as a door supervisor or work in general security, our door supervisor training course qualification is this most flexible. Many retail outlets now want security personnel to have a door supervisor’s license rather than a security guard license.

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?

This door supervisor training course qualification must be undertaken over a minimum of 4 days. The 4-day course is intensive over 30 hours not including breaks.  Refreshments am and pm – lunch not provided.

What are the requirements of the Course?

You must bring with you on the first day of the course the required ID please see ID requirements at the bottom of this page. If you do not have the required ID please contact us.

What is covered in the qualification?

It is divided into 4 units and is assessed through 3 multiple-choice examinations, a theoretical assessment and a practical assessment. These units are as follows:

Unit 1: Working in the Private Security Industry:
Assessed by a 60 minute, 40 question multiple-choice examination. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 28 out of 40 to pass this unit.

Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor:
Assessed by a 1 15 min hour, 45 question multiple-choice examination. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 32 out of 45 to pass this unit.

Unit 3: Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry:
Assessed by a 30 minute, 20 question multiple-choice examination. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 14 out of 20 to pass this unit.

Unit 4: Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry:
Assessed in two parts. Part one is a practical assessment and part two is a theoretical assessment set by HABC.

What happens after the course?

You can apply for you license once you have your certificate which we aim to have to you within 14 days of passing the door supervisor training course.

What happens if I fail?

We have a very high pass rate, but if you do fail an exam, we would do a re-sit completely free of charge.
